*Project Plan for Hiring Paid Staff* *Project:* Studio Legion: A Cultural and Mental Health Bridge for the Latin Community of Oregon *Objective:* Hire 5 people to support the implementation of the project and achieve established goals. *Positions to Hire:* 1. *Project Coordinator*: responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising the project. 2. *Mental Health Specialist*: will provide mental health services in Spanish to the Latin community of Oregon. 3. *Web Developer*: will design and develop the website and social media to promote the organization's mission and services. 4. *Volunteer Coordinator*: responsible for the selection, training, and supervision of student volunteers. 5. *Administrative Assistant*: will provide administrative support for the implementation of the project.
*Roles and Responsibilities:* - *Project Coordinator*: - Responsible for the planning, coordination, and supervision of the project. - Will coordinate the activities of the other team members. - Ensure that the project is completed within the established timeline and budget. - *Mental Health Specialist*: - Will provide mental health services in Spanish to the Latino community of Oregon. - Will develop and implement mental health programs for the community. - Will coordinate with other health professionals to ensure comprehensive care. - *Web Developer*: - Will design and develop the website and social media to promote the organization's mission and services. - Will ensure that the website and social media are accessible and user-friendly. - Will perform updates and maintenance of the website and social media. - *Volunteer Coordinator*: - Responsible for the selection, preparation, and supervision of student volunteers.
- It will coordinate the activities of student volunteers with the needs of the community. - It will ensure that student volunteers have a learning and growth experience. - *Administrative Assistant*: - It will provide administrative support for the implementation of the project. - It will ensure that project documents and records are accurate and up to date. - It will coordinate administrative activities with other team members. *Kanban Method:* - The project will be managed using the Kanban method, which focuses on visualizing workflow and limiting work in progress. - The following columns will be used on the Kanban board: - *To-Do*: list of pending tasks. - *In Progress*: tasks currently being worked on. - *Done*: tasks that have been completed. - Work in progress (WIP) limits will be established for each column to avoid overload and ensure a constant workflow.
*Budget:* - The budget for paid staff will be $40,000 per year. - The budget will be used to cover the costs of: - Salaries and benefits for paid staff. - Training and professional development for paid staff. - Administrative expenses and others. *Duration of the Contract:* - The contract for paid staff will be for 1 year, with an option for renewal. *Selection Process:* - A selection process will be carried out for each position, which will include: - Review of resumes and cover letters. - Interviews with selected candidates. - Reference checks.
